Privacy Policy

Effective August 7, 2026 · Last updated September 14, 2026

Wable Daigle ("we", "us") operates the Bloom IQ mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

What we do not collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use any third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Photo library

Where the App offers it, you can choose an existing photo from your photo library. Access is requested only at the moment you choose that action, and iOS asks you to confirm it — you can decline, or change it later in Settings, and the rest of the App keeps working. The App does not use the camera. The photo you pick stays on your device: it is saved only in the App's own storage on that device, it is not uploaded, we keep no copy of it on our servers, it is not included when your content syncs, and the App does not read, scan, or index the rest of your library. Because it is held only on that device, it does not appear on your other devices; you can remove it at any time from within the App, and deleting the App removes it too.

How we use information

To provide and maintain the App, authenticate you, sync your content to your account, and respond to support requests. We do not use your content for advertising.

Storage, security & processors

Your data is stored with our cloud backend (Supabase), isolated per user with row-level security so that only you can access your own data, and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). A copy of your data is also cached on your device so the App stays fast and works offline; removing the App, or clearing its data, deletes that local copy. We share data only with the limited service providers needed to run the App — our cloud hosting and authentication provider, and Apple (for any purchases). To confirm whether a purchase is active we use RevenueCat, which receives an app user identifier (a random one before you sign in, and your account's internal ID after — never your name or email), the purchase details Apple provides, and basic device information such as platform, operating-system version, and country. We do not sell your personal information.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International users

Our service providers may process and store information on servers in the United States or other countries, whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live, under the terms of those providers.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account). Deletion removes your account and content from our systems.

Records of purchases are kept by Apple, and subscription status by RevenueCat, under their own policies, because they are needed for billing, entitlement, and tax purposes. Deleting your account does not delete those records, and it does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that in your Apple ID settings.

Children

The Bloom IQ App is made for children and is intended to be used with a parent or guardian. Accounts are intended to be created and controlled by an adult, using an email address and a password; the App is not designed for a child to create an account or sign in on their own, and we never ask a child for an email address, a phone number, or any other contact detail.

What we hold about a child is either entered by the adult who holds the account or produced by the child's own use of the App under that account: a first name or nickname that the grown-up chooses, an age range rather than a date of birth, and the answers and progress recorded as they learn. A child's real name is never required, and we ask for nothing beyond what the App needs in order to work. A picture a grown-up adds to a child's profile is held only on that device and is never uploaded — see Photo library above.

There are no advertisements in the App, and we use no advertising, attribution, or behavioral-tracking SDKs. We do not build advertising profiles of children, and we do not track anyone across other apps or websites.

The grown-up area of the App — progress reports, learning settings, subscription and account controls — can be locked with a 4-digit PIN so that it stays out of little hands. A parent or guardian may review, correct, or permanently delete everything held about their child at any time from within the App (Grown-ups → Delete Account), or by emailing us at [email protected]. If you believe a child has given us information without a parent's involvement, write to that address and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can access, correct, or delete your data using the in-app controls, or by contacting us at [email protected].

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Most of this you can do with the in-app controls; for anything else, email [email protected] and we will respond as required by applicable law.

These pages

These Privacy, Terms, and Support pages are static: they set no cookies and load no analytics, advertising, or third-party scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to serve the pages securely and diagnose faults. If you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply and help you.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date above.
